The Process

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo that is performed by using a hand held tool to manually create every individual hair stroke by mimicking natural brow hairs. However, like any artist everyone has their own method and technique that best suits them and their clients. Please read the following steps to have a better understanding of the microblading process at Framed Tattoo.

Step 1 - Consultation

The artist will carefully go over the fundamentals of microblading, the tattoo process and aftercare/healing instructions to ensure the client is well informed and knowledgable about the procedure. Afterwards the artist will go over brow shapes, style and colour the client would like to achieve. Please feel free to present pictures of eyebrows you like as it helps the artist have a better insight.

Step 2 - Brow Mapping

When mapping out the brows the artist will use the methods of The Golden Ratio. By using several measuring tools the artist will create a general shape that best frames and suits the client's facial features and bone structure with makeup. The client can adjust the shape and thickness as many times as they'd like until we achieve the desired look.

Step 3 - Micropigmentation

Before the procedure is performed the client is numbed with a topical anesthetic for 30 minutes to reduce discomfort. While the brows are numbing the artist will then carefully choose the pigment that best suits the client's hair and skin colour. The tattoo procedure will then follow.
